The goal of San Diego… for the People is to provide information about growth and development in the neighborhoods of San Diego and improve our quality of life through thoughtful analysis and planning.
This website aims to inform citizens about plans to change our neighborhoods (for better or worse), critique these plans in an objective manner, provide transparency into opaque and complicated planning processes, and highlight best practices in planning and sustainability that could be applied to San Diego.
I encourage residents to contact me with information, questions, and suggestions you may have about current and upcoming neighborhood and planning issues.
By understanding and analyzing our urban environment and the forces that shape it, we can create a better San Diego… for the People.
At the moment, the website is focused on the Uptown Community. I hope to expand the analysis to wider community issues related to quality of life as my work evolves.
